Integrating Interfaith Practices and Support:

At FASAA, we offer interfaith programs where clients can engage in their respective religious/spiritual practices,Invite religious/spiritual leaders from diverse faith traditions to regularly visit the center and provide interfaith activities or that bring clients and staff of different backgrounds together, Provide training for staff to develop cultural competency and sensitivity towards diverse religious/spiritual beliefs and practices.


Tailoring Care to Spiritual/Religious Needs:

Assess each client's spiritual/religious background, preferences, and needs as part of the intake and treatment planning process, lntegrate religious/spiritual practices (e.g. rituals, dietary restrictions, modesty requirements) into the rehabilitation plan where appropriate,connect patients with faith-based resources, support groups, or community organizations that can provide ongoing spiritual care,train staff to be knowledgeable and respectful of diverse religious/spiritual traditions when providing medical, therapeutic, and counseling services.
